I have been waiting patiently before making this post to see if Elance would make any further changes to their new proposed membership plans. Unfortunately they haven’t so I have decided it’s time to list some alternative websites for ghostwriting jobs.
I’m going to start with some of the free ghostwriting jobs sites:
Get A Freelancer
Get A Coder
Writerlance
Rent A Ghostwriter
Bizreef
Freelance Writing Gigs
Essay Writers
eSWO
Sun Oasis
Online Writing Jobs
Burryman
Go Freelance
Weblens
Poewar
Academia Research
Direct Freelance
Adveres
Freelance Writing Center
BuyLance
This is by no means a full list of websites so please feel free to ad your own. I will personally be reviewing all of the websites listed above over the next couple of weeks and hopefully be able to give you some insight into which ones work the best. If anyone is familiar with any of these free ghostwriting jobs websites or any others for that matter please let post your comments and share your information.
Until next time,
Keep writing.

A website to add to your list:
oDesk (http://www.odesk.com).
Unlike many marketplace sites, oDesk offers guaranteed hourly payment for hourly work. This model is great for long-term projects or if you’re doing something like copywriting (where it is more difficult to pay per article).

Hi Michelle,
Many thanks for your comments and the addition of your website which I will be sure to check out.
Amanda
I already used BizReef site, I listed my service for free, and in some days I got an order form a Canadian guy.
In BizReef you can offer bids on posted projects or list your service and get orders.
It took we a while to get used to the site GUI, but after you get used it is very logical. When I needed the support I got response in 3-4 hours.
At the end they took commission from the project price.

Hi Audrey,
I also signed up with Bizreef and so far have no complaints. I am in negotiations for one large project so we’ll see how things go. As far as free websites go I really like this one. I agree that it is hard to get used to but I think that’s because we are all so familiar with Elance that it can be hard to get used to anything else.

Hi there,
I would recommend adding a new marketplace specifically for Internet Marketing and related services, including copywriting: http://www.esalesguru.com

Hi, this is Rod Smith, from Rent A Coder (www.rentacoder.com).
Rent A Coder is another freelance site that you can add to the list. There are a variety of projects so you can sign up and bid on projects for writing or try out something else (graphics, software design, website creation, etc).
RAC offers escrow and dispute resolution as a protection to both buyers and sellers, just in case things don’t go as planned.
If you have any questions about the site/service let me know.

I would not recommend Writerlance. The company owes me $675 for work completed in the summer of 2007. They have ignored multiple attempts by me to receive payment. Someone who said he was the new owner basically told me it wasn’t his problem because he was ripped off by the previous owner. Avoid these guys!
I just wanted to add my 2 cents to ESWO. They are not paying it seems. I was supposed to receive payment on March 15 and to date (MArch 18) I have received no payment and nothing from the company saying why. I have put in support tickets and they are left unanswered though they say it takes up to 48 hours. So, I don’t think this is a good place to work for – I have $120 waiting to be paid for work that I did.
Thanks!
Diana
Thank you people for your advise and suggestions…. i will be trying Bizreef.
