Take a look at the Twitter Blog and you will see that even celebrities are starting to Twitter. I’m even following Britney Spears. It seems Twitter really is the new things and for freelance writers it’s great. Every time you write a new article, blog post, find a new job, etc, you can tweet about it. Anyone that is following you will receive this update and they can click on the link you place in your tweet. It is worth mentioning that you only get 140 characters per tweet so make them work in your favour.

Twitter is definitely something that you should be adding to your marketing campaign. The only way to find out if it will work for you is to start using it. Dont’ forget to Follow Me on Twitter.
Until next time,
Keep writing, and Twittering

Great post, Amanda. I love the way you always find a useful video to illustrate the points you want to make!
And yes, Twitter is a great tool. I’ve been using it for about six months now. Initially I regarded it just as another way of notifying people about my blog posts, but increasingly I’m seeing it now as a valuable networking and community-building tool as well.
Thanks Nick,
I am also finding Twitter very useful and packed with great information. YouTube is great for finding videos to match your content, and let’s face it, everyone loves to watch how things are done.
