I just wanted to say sorry to you. I recently published a post recommending Go freelance to you. I was wrong and I am sorry. I had a comment from Laura in relation to this post telling me that my information was wrong. When I went back to check this website I couldn’t find any of the information that I put in my post. I did in sign up for a $2.95 7 day free trial, I did get 2 new clients, and I did successfully cancel my membership before the 7 days were up.
I also reported that the membership fee was $29.95 per month.
After receiving Laura’s comment stating that this information was incorrect I went to check. I discovered that the trial offer was now $7 instead of $2.95 for the 7 days. I searched and searched but couldn’t find the membership fees that I quoted in my post. All I could find was a new monthly membership fee of $49.95. Do I recommend this…..ABSOLUTELY NOT.
I also did a little searching online and found so many websites and posts giving out about this website and how it was a scam. So many people have taken up the $2.95 special offer only to discover that they had terrible trouble cancelling their membership.
I have removed this post from my blog and sincerely apologise to you my valued reader.
I can assure you that I do not recommend products lightly and I did have a valuable experience with Go freelance but I cannot recommend a $50 monthly membership fee to anyone.
Until next time,
Keep writing.

I don’t believe you have anything to apologize for. You provided information that was accurate at the time you made your recommendation. If anything, it’s Go Freelance that should apologize for the drastic increase in the trial. My 2 cents.
Hi Amanda,
I am in the process of collecting complaints regarding gofreelance.com and the earlier incarnation freelanceworkexchange.com.
I personally signed up and had 1 reply to a bid I made, but I never got a job. I was unable to cancel before the 7 day trial ended because of computer problems and of course was charged $49.95 US for another month. I canceled the account and requested a refund, they simply replied I could have canceled by going to the help section of their website.
I am amassing information to present to Paypal now, they should not continue to support companies that never give out refunds and do not represent ethical behavior. They advertise 1000′s of jobs in their database, yet even with category overlap had 279 listings the day I checked.
They make their money from people signing up and being scammed. i have found dozens of complaints regarding these people.
If you want to get real work on the web, go to elance.com a real company with real jobs and you only pay $9.95 a month if you decide to upgrade to the paid membership.
That’s my 2 cents worth regarding these scam artists
Great! Thank you very much! I always wanted to write in my blog something like that. Can I take part of your post to my site? Of course, I will add backlink? Regards
Hi and thanks for your sincer input, I dont think you should appologize for go freelance becuase they are the scammers, I too tried them out and I finally got a refund but it was after my 7 day trial. Also Can you email me and let me know how you get on the google search engine first page?
