Welcome to part 3 of this series. Today we are looking at the important of formatting when writing SEO articles for your clients. In today’s post I will also give you some information on additional extras that you can offer your clients as part of your SEO content writing services. So far we have focused on keyword placement in your articles and the density that is required but there is a lot more to SEO content creation that just a basic microsoft word document and your client will be well aware of this.
When clients are placing your SEO articles onto their websites there are a number of items that they need to take care of. These very important aspects include:
Title tags
Meta Tags
Headline Tags
Title Tags
Title tags are one of the most important parts of any website page and especially when you are working on search engine optimization. Title tags are what shows up at the top of the browser when someone clicks on a page in your website. It is vital that webmasters include their keywords in their title tags. They should also try to ensure that their title tags are human being friendly too because this is what you will see in the search engines for the title of the page. You can include title tags in your SEO content writing services. After reading this, you will also be able to explain the importance of this service to clients and potential clients too.

<title>place the title of your webpage here</title>
Meta Tags:
There are two Meta tags that webmasters need to concentrate on for SEO. Meta description is the first one. This is a snippet or bitesized description of the page in question. This is what you will see in the search engine index and it is extremely important that this meta description is succinct, descriptive, and invites readers to click on the website. Keywords should also be included in the Meta description tag. The normal lenght of a meta description tag is approximately 160 characters long which is approximately 2 sentences.

The meta keyword tag is also very important and this is where you will include your keywords for your webpage. All SEO experts will tell your clients that this tag is extremely important and that search engine spiders will look here to see what keywords should be featured in your content.
The meta keyword will look like this:
<META name=”keywords” content =”your keywords listed seperated by a comma”>
Headline Tags:
There are two other tags that you will frequently find in webpages and these are H1 tags and H3 tags. H1 tags are used for the title of your article or page and H3 tags are then used for your sub headings.
These tags will look like this:
<H1>Article title</H1>
<H3>sub heading</H3>
By understanding the importance of these tags you will be able to add them to your list of services and increase your rates for SEO articles. If you do intend to specialize on SEO content then it is vital that you subscribe to SEO blogs and newsletters, and keep up to date with everything that is going on in the world of SEO. SEO is something that changes rapidly and if you want give your clients the best results you need to be aware of what is going on.
