Would You Use Amazon For Your Easter Shopping

by Amanda on March 31, 2009

I have to admit, I am a big fan of Amazon especially when it comes to gettting the latest books on freelance writing. You will notice, that I have included an Amazon widget on the sidebar of this blog that contains books especially for freelance writers. This morning I received an email from Amazon about their Kids and Family Easter Store so I just had to log on a take a look. I haven’t picked up my Easter eggs yet so I thought I would see what they have to offer and of course let my readers know in case there is anything that you haven’t thought of either.

First up is the Kid’s Easter Apparel where you can find Easter dress and suits so you can dress your kids up for that all important Easter egg hunt.  I love the excitement on their faces as they run around searching for clues and eggs don’t you?  The Girls Easter Clothing page is one I know I will be spending some time on later when my daughter gets home from school.

Next up is the Easter Treats page filled with chocolate bunnies, candies, and Easter baskets and you can actually save $10 on selected Easter baskets too.  If you are a fan of your own childhood you will love the Remember Those Years boxes that contain the candy you grew up with.  They have candy from the 1940′s right the way up to the 1990′s.  I’ve just bought some for myself but I’m not going to tell you what year.  If you remember these candies then you’ll know: Atomic Fireballs, BitOHoney, Mamba, Nerds, Lik-m-aid Fun Dip, Bottlecaps, Wonka Pixy Stix, Bubble Gum Cigs, Candy Cigs, Apple Heads, Lemon Heads (small & large), Charms Blow Pops, Saf-T-Pops Lollipops, Sweetarts, Now & Laters Assorted Classic, Fun Gum Wax, Pop Rocks, Zotz Sour Fizz, Runts, Slo Pokes, Zours, Jolly Ranchers, Slap Stick, Grape Heads, Jaw Busters (small & large), Tootsie Midgees and more.  My mouth is watering just thinking about them.

Easter Books are also very popular and Amazon have a range of books that all the family can enjoy.  Books are great gifts at Easter especially if you don’t want your child to have too much chocolate.

Last but by no means least is Easter Toys.   You can fill up with stuff starting at less than $10 on this page.

Here’s the link to the Easter Store where you will find everything on the same page.

Happy shopping and be sure to let me know what bargains you get.

Until next time,

Keep writing.
