I’m sorry to hear that you can’t get high paying clients but believe me they are out there and you should consider trying to find them and also remove the rates you have listed on your website so that you can do this. If potential clients see the rates listed on your website they might assume that you are not a professional and leave before even offering you the chance of some work. Just a thought.

I didn’t quite understand that I should have answered a yes to the fifth question in the first section though. If that was the case then I would have been saying that I could imagine my life without writing. I am guessing you intended it to be the other way around?

I truly don’t think that this has to be an either-or thing. We can love to write and still work to get paid, and paid well, for what we do. That is why I so vehemently eschew the job bid sites and urge writers who want to make a real living at it to carve out their own paths.
