Ghostwriting Uncovered In 2010

by Amanda on January 9, 2010

It’s the New Year and for many people this means goals and resolutions.  I have a number of goals that I have set for 2010 but I won’t bore you with a goals post.  I’m sure you have read plenty of these over the last few weeks.  What I do want to tell you about is what I have planned for the Ghostwriting Uncovered Blog for 2010.

As you can see I have been extremely busy over the past few months and have not been posting as regularly as I should have.  This is mainly due to the work that was taking place on this website.  You will notice that the website has had a makeover.  Hope you like it.  I had a great designer working with me and he had a big job to do.  I combined my standalone Ghostwriting Uncovered website and the Ghostwriting Uncovered Blog into one wordpress website.  This was a big job but it will make things so much easier for me.  It was becoming a pain to have to try and contact a website designer every time I wanted to change something on the main website so I decided to intergrate everything.  I have to say I am delighted with the results.  There are a couple more tweaks to come but overall the new look is finished. What do you think?

Now that my website is back fully functional I can focus on what I want to do for 2010.  I have been assessing the statistics from 2009 to see what has worked and what hasn’t.  This has allowed me to draft a plan of action for this year. Here are some of the things that you can expect to see this year.

European freelance Writing jobs – these posts proved to be very successful and brought in a lot of new readers and traffic.  The only drawback to these posts was the fact that as a daily item they just didn’t work.  Some days there were no jobs to report.  What I have decided to do is a weekly rundown of the European freelance Writing jobs that are available and I will post these on a Friday so keep an eye out for these.

grammar Tips – The grammar tips also proved a success with new visitors and returning readers.  There are however too many websites that dedicate their time and efforts to grammar so I think I will leave it up to them.  I know that freelance Writing Gigs has added a grammar section to their blog too so what I might do is write a weekly post on the best grammar posts of the week and link to various posts.  What do you think of this?

Writing Courses – As it’s the New Year and a lot of people will be looking at improving their writing skills I plan on looking at a few of the writing courses that are available and giving you my opinion on them.

Writing Tips – Last year I did a series of 4 posts on SEO content writing and these proved to be very successful.  I am planning on adding more of these series this year and I am going to focus on the different ghostwriting services that you can provide.  The series will include press releases, sales copy, article writing and e-book writing.

These are just some of the things that you can expect to see in 2010.  If there is anything in particular that you would like to see then just post it in the comments and I will look into it.  Your feedback and comments are always welcome and very much appreciated.  What is the point in sharing information if it is not what you want to read.  Your input is important to me and if you want to know something all you have to do is ask.

Until next time,

Keep Writing

Amanda,

Wow-za yow-za! The site looks fabulous! It is crisp, inviting, clean – all the stuff that (for me anyway) makes a great site.

I’m really looking forward to seeing all of the great stuff you’ve got planned for the new year.

Welcome back!

George

Thanks George,

Glad you like the new look. Took a lot of time and changes but I’m happy with the results now. I can’t wait to get stuck into this year. We have terrible snow at the moment and the kids are still off school because of it, but once they re-open I will be able to get stuck into things here.

Amanda
