Credibility is vital if your writing business is going to succeed and whether you’ve been bad or good this year is something that Google really does know.

According to reports around the internet in the last few hours, Google knows the worst band in the world but what about the worst ghostwriting website or freelance writing website?  Do you show up on the front page?  Well lets take a look.

There was a lot of writing about Creed showing up when the worst band in the world was typed into google, and if you don’t believe me you can read a couple of the posts that I’ve linked to below:

Inquisitr.com wrote about it

Digg has over 355 mentions of it

Evolving Music jumped on the bandwagon too.

Sgblogs reported it too.

So what happens when you type the worst ghostwriting website in the world into google:  Take a look:

I don’t know whether it’s a good or a bad thing for your website to show up.  You know you’re ranking well, but on the other hand I don’t think whoever put the worst ghostwriting website in the world into their Google search bar was looking to hire a writer.  Do you?

So there you have it. But I still want to pose this question.  If you could really vote for the worst ghostwriting or freelance writing website what one would you pick?  What do you think makes a bad website?  What would you look for if you had to vote for the worst website?
